What the Package include and Why pay Watch Klinik to do it?

We
recommend our customers to have a battery change, waterproof check
and gasket change every 2 years
regardless of whether it is working or
not.
This
is
because ALL batteries will leak with time. When such leakage
happens, the acidic discharge usually seeps into the timepiece, causing irreversible
damage to the
quartz movement and other parts of the timepiece.
Moisture
in the timepiece also has the same effect. It can be
easily avoided by having the
battery changed periodically.

How
do i know my watch is Due for Servicing?
Common signs could be:
- Watch gains
5-10 seconds a day (or based on manufacturer's specification)
- Watch stops
permanently or at intervals (movement's lubrication has dried
/ clogged up)
- Difficulty
winding the watch / hands don't move (signs of damaged parts)
A
mechanical watch will routinely require a
full service every 3 to 5 years, or because of a malfunction.
This
takes about 2 weeks, due to the number of stages involved.
They
include:
- Dismantling of watch movement
- Cleaning the
disassembled movement (using
special chemicals & watch cleaning machines)
- Replacement of damaged or worn
parts & reassembly
- Lubrication & adjustment of the movement
- Replacement
of battery (for
quartz watches)
- Water-proof check (replacement of
the gasket, if necessary)
- Ultrasonic cleaning &
sterilization (to remove all the dirt & grime accumulated)
- Polishing of the watch case
& bracelet
- Monitoring
of the watch, making
sure it's performing to the manufacturer's specifications
