THE SITE AND PRODUCTS AND INFORMATION ON THE SITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN 'AS IS-WHERE IS' BASIS. NEITHER watch klinik NOR ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES OR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, SHAREHOLDERS, PREDECESSORS, SUCCESSORS, OR ASSIGNS (COLLECTIVELY, 'AFFILIATES') WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM USE OF THE SITE, THE INFORMATION CONTAINED ON OR TRANSMITTED FROM THE SITE OR PRODUCTS AVAILABLE OR PURCHASED THROUGH THE SITE, OR TRANSACTIONS CONDUCTED AT THE SITE, EVEN IF watch klinik HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR LOSSES. SOME COUNTRIES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF watch klinik OR ITS AFFILIATES ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM THIS SITE OR ANY PRODUCTS AVAILABLE OR PURCHASED THROUGH THE SITE EXCEED THE LESSER OF THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO watch klinik FOR THE SINGLE PRODUCT AT ISSUE, OR ONE THOUSAND SINGAPORE DOLLARS (S$1,000). YOU HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ALL THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION WILL APPLY TO ALL USE OF THE SITE, THE INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THE SITE, AND PRODUCTS AVAILABLE OR PURCHASED THROUGH THE SITE, AND TRANSACTIONS CONDUCTED AT THE SITE.

TERMS FOR SERVICE / PART REPLACEMENT

Our warranty is effective for TWELVE (12) Months from the date it is collected.


WARRANTY will be void if the timepiece/replaced part is found :

  1. tampered with;

  2. modified;

  3. addition of any components or accessories; 

  4. damage arising from normal wear, accidents, misuse (e.g crown not screwed in, resulting in water damage), shock or fall;

  5. any intervention by an unauthorized third party;
  • In the case of the timepiece damaged from misuse, shock or fall during the warranty period, Watch Klinik will offer service/ repair at 50% of the estimated cost. However, part replacement, if any, will be charged accordingly.
  • For battery change and part replacements, Watch Klinik will only guarantee the battery/replaced parts to be in proper working order. We cannot be held liable for any other mechanical/ electronic failure beyond our control.
  • Should the timepiece malfunction under normal use within the warranty period, it will be repaired at Watch Klinik without charge.
  • If the timepiece requires service, repair or adjustment within the warranty period at Watch Klinik, please produce the original servicing receipt together with the timepiece.
  • In case of parts replacement, Watch Klinik cannot guarantee that you will receive them within the 1st estimated servicing deadline. If your parts are not available at the point of time, we will contact you and give further advice on the repair.
  • Watch Klinik reserves the right to extend servicing deadlines, requote service/repair prices should the spare part be difficult to acquire/ unavailable at that point of time/ unforeseen circumstances.
  • In the event of fire, flood, earthquake or any Acts of God while the timepiece is with us for the duration of service/repair/quotation. Watch Klinik will be liable for the value of the timepiece based on the Agreed Insured Value of the original service receipt or the original purchase receipt.
  • While we take great care when working with your timepiece, scratches or slight dings may be left on the surface of your timepiece because physical contact between the tools and the timepiece are inevitable. We do our very best to minimize any possible damage by using only the proper tools and technique available to us.
  • Timepieces sent in for battery change/ quotation are assumed to be in NON-WORKING condition unless low battery indicator on timepiece is still working.

  • Final Quotation shall be communicated to the customer verbally and payable upon collection.

  • Service / Inspection fee of S$60 will be payable if customer is not agreeable upon the final quotation after disassembly. Due care will be taken to reassemble the timepiece. However, if we cannot 100% reinstate the timepiece to its received condition. The timepiece will be returned in loose parts without reassembly.

  • Watch Klinik cannot be responsible for the damage of the *following parts (see below), the replacement of such parts and the guarantee of a proper service or repair on your timepiece arising from these parts while we work on your timepiece.

    *Non-original, modified, inferior quality, neglected, naturally deteriorated, plastic, corroded, rusted or parts previously worked on by third party.
  • A waterproof test will be performed after we work on the timepiece. However, there will be no guarantee on waterproofing. The waterproof test result will be communicated to the customer upon collection so due care can be taken when using the timepiece.

  • Any timepiece not collected twelve (12) months from the date of notification will be auctioned off and all proceeds will be used to offset our charges and cost incurred. Excess amount will be donated to charity in your name.

Subject to the following arbitration provision these terms and conditions shall be governed by, construed and interpreted according to the laws of the Singapore, and you and watch klinik (the 'Parties') agree to and consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts in Singapore. Should a dispute arise between the Parties which cannot be resolved by the Parties in good faith negotiations, both Parties agree to submit such dispute to arbitration in Singapore, before a single arbitrator familiar with the Commercial Code using the Commercial Rules of Singapore, with the following modifications to be enforced by the arbitrator consistent with Singapore law: 

  1. any such arbitration proceeding shall be confidential as to the existence, content, and results of the arbitration;

    depositions shall not exceed two (2) per party and all must be completed within a single day;

    document requests are limited to no more than ten (10) clearly identified categories of documents which must be provided to the requesting party within five (5) business days of the request; 

    each party shall have no more than eight (8) hours to present its position; and

  2. the entire hearing shall last no longer than three (3) business days. The award, if any, shall be rendered no more than thirty (30) days following the end of the  proceeding. Judgment upon the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered by any court having jurisdiction. Both Parties expressly agree that any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis, and shall not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party. Each party shall bear its own attorneys' fees and costs in connection with the proceedings and shall share equally the fees and expenses of the arbitrator.
